Yonaka Goes Green!
Today's corporate world is very competitive, but that doesn't mean the environment has to pay the price.
Yonaka Motorsports is proving that eco-friendly operations can co-exist with being a leader in creating, developing and manufacturing some of the industry's best quality racing performance parts.
At Yonaka Motorsports we support the green initiative with its latest environmental push. Yonaka is continuously adapting new measures to reduce the carbon foot print, reduce, recycle and re-use.
Yonaka has adapted some of the following environmentally friendly policies
- By replacing standard bulbs with a compact fluorescent which allow us to get more light for less money and save a lot of energy
- Cut down on packaging and using sustainable packaging
- Adopted a paperless system in order to minimize any and all paper use. Yonaka is making an effort to reduce paper use despite a growth in our customer data base.
- Yonaka does not buy aerosol products
There are environmentally better packages for most products. Aerosols can't be recycled--which means that they are guaranteed to end up in landfills--and some of their ingredients contribute to air pollution. Instead of aerosols, look for spray bottles, liquids, powders, and roll-ons.
- Energy Protection
Yonaka staff have taken on the responsibility of minimizing energy use and maximizing energy conservation. For example, by adjusting the heating and cooling by a couple of degrees, Yonaka reduces the amount of energy used. Turning off the lights and other electrical devices also helps minimize use of energy and maximize energy protection.
- Yonaka has adapted recycling of all paper and cardboard products.
- Use Recycled Paper
Yonaka Motorsports has taken the initiative to use recycled paper whenever it is available
- Many of Yonaka products, such as the aluminum radiators, front mount intercoolers, lug nuts, UJ bends etc… are 100% recyclable.
Yonaka Motorsports is constantly working to minimize our impact on the environment. Yonaka is continuously adapting new measures to reduce the carbon foot print, reduce, recycle and re-use. For new initiatives being implemented, simply visit our website.
