5 of 5 Mazda Rx8 Coilovers January 12, 2022
Reviewer: David Cox from Anderson, IN United States
I bought these to replace my failing stock suspension on my 2005 Rx8 (Shinka). They have do for impressed me greatly. I have previously had Tein coilovers and went with these for their particularly attractive price. The body of the coilover is fully zinc plated and resists scratches quite well during install. The orange perch adjustment plates are well constructed and the threads on the set up are very nice. I set my dampening adjustment to 28 in the rear and 26 in front and they are working excellent and have lowered the car for a nice aggressive look without sacrificing daily drivability. Overall, these seem like the best bang for your buck coilovers and they should last quite a while! I did need to buy some adjustable end links to correct my sway bar geometry but that is expected when lowering the car. I really love that you can adjust ride height without having to give up suspension travel as the coilover is designed to keep full shock travel. Thx guys!
