Very nice April 1, 2024 Reviewer: Rob from New York   It's really mature and almost seems like an OEM+ kind of thing. It does pop, but only on low rpm downshifts/coasting between 3500-4500 rpms. Cold start is tolerable and when it kicks down, it's barely audible. Overall, this exhaust has a really great bassy sound that is nice a throaty in the low to mid rev range. This exhaust is not loud at all. I don't like super loud, but I do wish it had a little more volume. That being said it's what it should've sounded like from the factory. The build quality is great and I had zero issues putting it on a 2023 BRZ. There was another review mentioning the fitment with the exhaust tips.. I had no problem and the tips line up very well. I do wish it came with a donut gasket because the stock size was too small and I had to fish through a hundred bins at my local autozone lol. All the other gaskets and hardware are good. Perfect Daily Exhaust November 18, 2023 Reviewer: Dawson from Buffalo, NY United States   I’ve previously installed a Yonaka exhaust on a Civic I owned about 10 years ago. Purchased this exhaust for my GR86 after trying out a few other options on the market, like the Corsa cat-back and an MRT axle-back. This is a super simple, no frills, well-built exhaust that sounds awesome. This exhaust bolted right up and fit perfectly, plus included all of the gaskets and hardware needed for installation. The price simply cannot be beat, most axle-backs cost more than this and don’t sound nearly as good— some options aren’t even constructed as nicely. I will never hesitate to recommend this for the enthusiast who wants something high quality, without drone that sounds spirited and mature. Was this review helpful to you?

Great Exhaust, Great Value October 21, 2023 Reviewer: Dan Rubenstein from Oakland, CA United States   The Yonaka has a bassy sound with no drone. It’s not terribly loud on cold starts either. Everything lined up and installation was straightforward according to my mechanic. To hear it clearly you’ll need to roll down the windows. It’s not super loud. Love the exhaust, but poor packaging June 21, 2023 Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Garden Grove, CA United States   When new, it's a bit boomie. Break it in, and the boominess goes away. I like how it adds the much needed low frequency grunt only when I gas it more than 10%. Less than 10% gas it's basically stock silent. Interestingly, the higher RPM I go, the more it sounds like stock in terms of loudness and sound profile (usually after 4/5k ish). My gripe: Shipping container. The parts are all wrapped up individually, but there are no support frames/boxes/posts holding the muffler up to prevent the two exhaust tips from being smashed around. I'm guessing the box was dropped on the right side during shipping. So now the right exhaust tip is actually bent too much to the middle. I also wish the exhaust came with 1 more gasket for where the stock and aftermarket pipes meet. IIRC, my box had 2 gaskets for this 3 part catback. Overall, loving the exhaust. Great price, decent/good exhaust notes and sound, and poor packaging. I'd still recommend and would get this again if I had the choice. Was this review helpful to you?

10/10 service June 11, 2023 Reviewer: Joseph B from WALLINGFORD, CT United States   First of all this exhaust shipped almost immediately. Then it moved from west coast Canada to east coast US and delivered in 3 days which is incredible. The exhaust fit perfectly and sounds amazing. The box literally said 2013-2017 Frs but it fit my 2023 gr86 perfectly. Highly recommend! Was this review helpful to you?
