The plastic feels cheap but durable. Wires feel cheap but sturdy. There are cheaper adapters on Amazon and eBay and more expensive ones from higher end tuning shops. Yonaka falls into the sweet spot where you get a reliable and correctly made adapter without paying for extra things you won't need or ever see.
